Job Summary:
Alteia is seeking a talented and passionate Mobile Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining our product dedicated to vegetation management. Our platform leverages AI and vast datasets from drones, planes, and satellites to monitor thousands of miles of critical infrastructure.You will be at the heart of building the software that transforms this complex visual and geospatial data into actionable intelligence. This enables our clients to proactively manage vegetation, prevent massive power outages, and mitigate wildfire risks. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions to our enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying our cross-platform mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include:
- π± Developing and maintaining our mobile applications for both iOS and Android using modern technologies like Kotlin and Swift.
- ποΈ Leading the migration of our existing native applications to a shared codebase using Kotlin Multiplatform.
- π°οΈ Integrating geospatial data and 3D visualisation features to create intuitive and powerful user experiences in the field.
- π³ Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build and ship features for our vegetation management platform.
- π Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- π‘ Participating in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, release, and support.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
We're looking for someone with a solid foundation in mobile development and a desire to tackle complex challenges.
- β Proven experience in mobile development for iOS or Android.
- π¦ Strong proficiency in Swift or Kotlin.
- π Experience or strong interest in Kotlin Multiplatform for building shared logic across platforms.
- π¨ Hands-on experience with modern UI toolkits like Jetpack Compose and SwiftUI.
- πΊοΈ (Plus) Previous experience working with geospatial data (e.g., maps, GPS) is a huge advantage.
- πΆοΈ (Plus) Familiarity with integrating ML models
- πΆοΈ (Plus) Familiarity with Augmented Reality (ARKit, ARCore).
